SchoolStatus Boost Insights provide simple yet powerful ways for instructional leaders to use the data within SchoolStatus to save time and better support your staff. These insights directly align to the workflow or rubric used in your school or district.
Features like the Teacher Competency Matrix allow you to quickly understand performance in a heat map like fashion. The Target Progress Insight demonstrates work that’s been completed, and those observations left to do.
Today we’ve introduced a new type of insight, one that gives you the control to view your data in exactly the way you need it. The SchoolStatus Boost Report Builder, accessible via the Insights list for any school, district, or group, allows you to build custom reports from the templates you use every day to surface your own insights.
With the custom reports you build, it’s easy to use several types of filters to segment the data from your forms. Filters may be combined and include form types, tags, grade levels, and dates.
Additionally, reports allow more customization than just the question data you see. Easily change the visual style of each chart to better match the data it represents. You can even view the responses directly, rather than visually.
Once you’ve perfected the report, it is easily saved (including filters) to access later. No need to rebuild it!
For more information on how to use the Report Builder, see the SchoolStatus Boost Support Center for a guided walkthrough and screencast. As always, let us know your thoughts and feedback!
